Betting and Game Rules

These rules set out how bets and spins work on our site: how a round is settled, what happens when a game is interrupted, and the extra conditions that apply to bonus funds and live tables. They sit alongside our terms and conditions and the help screen of each individual game.

General rules that apply to all play

Your account with us is for your own personal use. One account per person is permitted, and we also treat duplicate accounts opened from the same household, e-mail address, payment method or device as a breach of these rules. Where duplicates are found, we may close the additional accounts and deal with any balance in line with our terms and conditions.

Play is open only to customers aged 18 or over who have passed our age and identity checks. We hold a gaming licence for the services we offer and verify accounts before withdrawals are released.

  • A bet is final once it is placed. Once a round has started we cannot cancel it, change the stake or refund it, including where you selected the wrong stake level or the wrong game.
  • Your balance may hold real money and bonus funds at the same time. Where both are present, stakes are normally taken from real money first, unless the game or the terms of that bonus say otherwise.
  • You are responsible for understanding how a game works before you stake on it. The rules of each title are available from its help or information screen.
  • Stakes, maximum stakes and maximum wins are those shown in the game itself, and any account-level limits you have set apply on top of them.
  • We may suspend a game or a bet type at any time, for example while a fault is being fixed. Where that happens, stakes on unsettled rounds are returned.

How bets and spins are settled

Outcomes are produced by the game provider's random number generator and recorded on the game server. The result held on the game server is final. It takes precedence over anything shown on your screen, in your browser cache, in a screenshot or in a notification, because a local display can be out of date or incomplete.

Each game is settled under its own in-game rules and paytable. These cover which symbols, hands or numbers pay, how bet lines and side bets work, how features are triggered and how any maximum win is applied. Where a game's own rules differ from a general description elsewhere on the site, the in-game rules apply.

Every game shows its theoretical return-to-player figure in its help screen. That figure describes long-run behaviour across very large numbers of rounds; it does not predict the outcome of a single session, and short-term results can sit well above or well below it.

Malfunctions and interrupted rounds

A malfunction voids all pays and play. This applies to faults in hardware, software, graphics, the random number generator or the connection between systems, whether the fault is ours or a game provider's. Stakes on a voided round are returned to the balance they were taken from.

If a fault credits an amount that the game rules do not support, the credit is not a win. We will correct the balance, and if the amount has already been withdrawn we may recover it or set it against future balances.

  • If you are disconnected part-way through a round, log back in and open the same game. An unfinished round is normally restored at the point it stopped.
  • Where a game cannot be restored, it is settled automatically under its own rules, and the outcome is shown in the game history in your account.
  • If a round cannot be completed or settled at all, the stake is returned.
  • Closing the game window, refreshing the page or losing power does not cancel a bet that has already been placed.

Your internet connection, device and browser are your own responsibility. We recommend a stable connection for live and table games, where a round continues in real time whether or not you are connected.

Playing with bonus funds

Bonus funds, free spins and similar offers are governed by the terms of the offer itself, together with our general terms and these rules. The conditions that apply to each active offer, and your progress against them, are shown in the promotions area of your account.

  • A maximum stake per round applies while wagering requirements are outstanding. Staking above it may void the bonus and any winnings from it.
  • Games contribute to wagering at different rates, and some games are excluded altogether. The rates and exclusions are those shown with the offer.
  • Wagering requirements must be met within the period stated in the offer. Unmet requirements lapse and the bonus balance is removed.
  • Any cap on winnings converted from bonus funds is the cap shown in the offer terms.
  • Play that is designed to secure a guaranteed profit from an offer rather than to play the game, including low-risk or matched betting patterns, may lead to the bonus being withdrawn.

Bonus play is otherwise settled in exactly the same way as real-money play: the same in-game rules, paytables and malfunction provisions apply.

Live casino and table games

Live games are dealt in real time by a dealer in a studio. The dealer's call and the table's own procedures decide the round, and the result recorded by the studio is final.

Late bets and errors at the table

Bets are accepted only within the betting window. Once betting is closed, a stake cannot be added, increased or withdrawn. If a card is exposed in error, a wheel result is unclear, or the round cannot be dealt correctly, the round is void under the table's rules and stakes are returned.

Table-specific rules

Each table publishes its own rules in its help screen: how the dealer must draw or stand, how side bets and insurance pay, how ties are treated, and the minimum and maximum stakes for that table. Those rules apply to every round at that table. Chat with the dealer is moderated, and we may remove access to it where conduct towards staff or other players is abusive.

Queries and disputes about a result

If you think a round has not been settled correctly, start with your game history in your account, which shows each round, the stake and the outcome. If the entry does not resolve the question, contact us and we will look into it.

  1. Write to support@casinothisisvegas.co.uk, or open the live chat on the site.
  2. Tell us the name of the game and, for live play, the table.
  3. Give the date and time of the round as shown in your account history.
  4. Include the round or game reference and the stake, where you have them.
  5. Add a short description of what you expected and what happened instead.

We will acknowledge your message, check the server records for the round with the game provider where needed, and give you a reasoned answer. Server and studio records are the primary evidence; screenshots can help but cannot override them.
